Great News on Dog Park

I met with Dave Melaas, Deputy Director of Parks and Recreation Department. He showed me plan for area of Dog Park and discussed how it will have separate areas for large and smaller dogs, water fountains for people and dogs, doggie bags, rules posted, parking, trails, shrubs, shaded areas. It will have grass and trails leading down into park. He even talked about getting old fire hydrants for the male dogs! It will be maintained by City of McAllen like…

Pepe, Loly & Maximus said… - George, you seem to have experience handling dogs and with the hole dog park issue. Maximus is very energetic and playful, this sometimes upsets other dogs and has escalated to a brawl. Now, if I go to the park is so that Maximus can socialize with other dogs and avoid this behavior. Should I let him off the leash right away? He didn't seem to have any problems in the other park (tamarak and main), but now I guess with all the new dogs he acting up. The other day we were there and as we were walking to another end of the park I got a lady telling me to let him off the leash. So what's the best way to go about this? Thanks

- Yowsers - y'all are putting out fires right and left. I'm not seeing as much havoc on the small dog side. Stay strong, as adjustment periods are always the toughest. And, boy, are people having to adjust to this new type of park!!!

This is a great house and with the large amounts of people wanting to live closer to the dog park Im sure alot of people would be interested in this home. Please let me know what we can do.
