Other Important Considerations
If any dog becomes aggressive or disruptive, the handler should remove the dog from the fenced area until socialization measures can be undertaken. It is very important that owners of dominant dogs be sensitive to the body language and reaction of other dogs. For example, if the dog is trying to get away, the tail is tucked under, or they are showing their teeth, the dog is displaying signs of fear and submission. The owner MUST interrupt this situation, correct the dominant dog by using a very sharp "NO", and remove him/her from the immediate area. They may also need to leash the dog for a time out or leave the play group for the day. Inappropriate behavior includes humping!
